Installing the Polaroid Palette software on Windows XP

It's possible to make a SCSI Polaroid Palette work on Windows XP – here's how:

1. First you'll need to download some files:
   • Palette software CD
   • Adaptec ASPI installer.
2. Install Adaptec ASPI
   1. Run the ASPI installer and instruct it to unpack everything into C:\Adaptec\ASPI.
   2. Open the Start menu, pick Run. Enter “cmd” and click OK.
   3. In the command prompt:

      c:
      cd\adaptec\aspi
      install.bat xp32
      aspiinst
      aspichk

3. If you want to use the Polaroid Palette Export plugin for Photoshop – this works on Photoshop 5.5. Run the installer from the Polaroid CD.
4. Install RasterPlus95 – this is also on the Polaroid CD.

You should now be able to print images onto film using the Palette.
